Privacy Policy

Effective date: 21 October 2026. This policy describes FixNest at https://fixnest.blog. FixNest is operated from Pakistan, with readers including those in the United States. Contact the site operator about privacy at smosx36@gmail.com.

Technical information and hosting

The site uses Hostinger hosting and delivery services. Technical records can include IP addresses or proxy addresses, requested pages, timestamps, browser/device information and errors. They support delivery, traffic reporting, troubleshooting and security. Search words entered on FixNest appear in the search URL and may be included in these records.

Technical records are handled under the hosting service’s configuration and retention arrangements, including operational and legal requirements; we do not promise a fixed deletion period for provider-held logs. See Hostinger’s privacy information. You can contact us to ask about records relating to your use of the site.

Login security

Limit Login Attempts Reloaded runs in local mode to detect and limit abusive login attempts. It processes IP addresses and login-attempt information, which can include attempted usernames, times and lockout records. Security records are held within the WordPress installation, and configured security notifications may be sent to our Gmail contact address. The plugin’s optional cloud threat-sharing service is not enabled. These records support site security; contact us about access or deletion requests using the email above.

Email inquiries

Contact messages are handled through Gmail. We receive the email address you use, any name you supply, the message and attachments you choose to send. We use inquiries to respond and address the issue raised. Avoid sending sensitive information that is not needed for your question.

Completed inquiries are reviewed for deletion within 12 months. We keep information longer only where needed for an unresolved matter or legal or security reasons. Requests for access or deletion can be sent to the address above. Gmail is provided by Google; see Google’s Privacy Policy for its service practices.

Cookies and analytics

WordPress uses cookies for authorized logins, authentication checks and administrative preferences. Hosting or security features may use functional cookies when needed to deliver or protect the site. You can manage cookies through your browser; blocking necessary cookies can affect login or other functions. Public account registration is disabled, and new content is configured with comments and pingbacks closed.

The public site currently offers search and an email contact link. There is no active newsletter signup or public contact form. Google AdSense is not active. Hosting traffic records described above are separate from Google Analytics.

Google Analytics 4 is configured for optional visit measurement. Analytics requires your consent through the consent banner. You may accept, reject or select statistics in preferences; rejecting analytics does not prevent access to articles. Use the Manage consent control to review or withdraw your choice. Complianz and WP Consent API manage these choices on the site, and necessary consent cookies remember your selection.

After consent, Google Analytics can receive page addresses, visit timestamps, browser and device details, approximate location, and cookie identifiers used to distinguish visits. Google receives technical connection data when its scripts load. Do not enter personal or sensitive information into site search. Enhanced interaction measurement and advertising features are not enabled as part of this setup. We use the reports to understand site use and improve content. See how Google uses information from sites using its services and Google’s Privacy Policy. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Analytics cookies can include _ga and _ga_ followed by a property-specific identifier. Consent-choice cookies use the cmplz_ prefix. Browser controls can delete cookies, but this may also erase your saved consent choice. After withdrawing consent, reload the page to stop the Analytics code for subsequent page loads. Withdrawal does not automatically erase reports already received. Contact us about access or deletion requests. Browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals are respected by the consent configuration.

Consent choices are stored for up to 365 days unless you change them or clear your browser storage. The Google Analytics property is configured with two-month retention for user and event data covered by its retention controls, with reset on new user activity turned off. Google notes that retention-setting changes take effect after 24 hours and do not affect most aggregated standard reports. See Google’s retention guidance.

Planned newsletter and advertising

A newsletter and Google AdSense advertising are planned, but are not active. We will update this policy and provide the relevant subscription or consent choices before enabling them. Affiliate links are a possible future addition; no active affiliate program is represented by this policy.

Google advertising cookies, if AdSense is enabled

When Google advertising is enabled, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s previous visits to this or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies can allow Google and its partners to personalize ads using those visits. The actual vendors and privacy choices will be disclosed when this service is activated.

Manage Google personalized advertising through My Ad Center. Read Google’s explanation of advertising technologies, or use the industry advertising choices tool for participating providers. Turning off personalized ads does not necessarily stop all advertising or all data processing. Where consent is required, the relevant choices must be available before applicable advertising technologies are used.

Service providers and international processing

Hosting, email and, after consent, analytics providers process information needed for their services. Information may also need to be retained or disclosed to address a valid legal requirement, security incident or dispute. The site operator is in Pakistan, and providers may process information in other countries under their service arrangements. Their linked privacy information explains their own practices.

Privacy requests and choices

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may be able to request access, correction or deletion, object to or restrict processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. These rights can have exceptions. Email smosx36@gmail.com with enough information to identify your request; do not send identity documents unless a proportionate verification step has been agreed. We may need to verify a request and retain information where applicable law or an unresolved matter requires it.

Browser cookie controls and provider advertising settings are additional choices. You may also have a right to complain to a relevant data-protection authority where applicable. This policy will be updated when the site’s services or data practices change.
